I believe that Global Warming is happening partly because of humans. It’s also the planet but it’s about how much we waste like energy and food. I think that Global Warming is happening because the Polar ice caps are melting and glaciers are melting at a very fast rate. Ice is being exposed and that ice hasn’t been exposed for millions of years. Polar Bears and Penguins are losing their habitat and soon enough lots of islands will be underwater. The only problem is HUMANS CAN’T SURVIVE UNDERWATER!!! Because of us there is more and more rubbish in Landfill EVERY day. Loads and loads of rubbish get tipped into that dirt!! I can’t believe what’s happening to our planet. And when wrappers, plastics and other products that don’t decompose get really tall, the plastic will probably release dangerous gases and it will be treacherous for us to breath the pollution. The world might be getting hotter but we are definitely making it a whole lot hotter with all our waste. Some ways to save waste are cooking only as much as you need, turn off water when you’re not using it, try to use less fossil fuels by fitting more people in one car. I definitely think that the Government should start saving up money and get Green Energy in Australia. I think that it should be a law and when somebody doesn’t have Green Energy they should get a fine, because it’s wrecking our planet and it’s putting lives in danger, lives that spend their money trying to save the planet but in the end it’s all just a big waste because some people really just don’t care. But I’m still wondering why people such as Al Gor spend so much money on advertising the wrong things when they could be using the money on trying to save the planet?

Al Gore may have twisted the story a bit but some of the things are true about what he said and believes and wants us to believe we should be able to choose ourselves not to be forced to choose how he thinks just because he is saying that we are all stupid if we don’t think the way he thinks it just isn’t FAIR!!! I believe that co2 is good for us, and it comes out of trees, and co2 is carbon dioxide. Well I heard that if we have too much co2 then the earth heats up, and we get closer to global warming, and we all ready have greenhouse gases. If that is true then I still don’t get how too much co2 is bad for the earth. And that the earth gets hotter.

I think about the movie we watched about climate change and i am very confused. I think that we are doing a little bit of it but on the other hand it is natural. Climate Change can be very confusing.

I believe in this because humans are obviously causing a bit of CO2 but then multiply the average CO2 produced per person and times it by 6.8 billion!!!! I personally think that that would come to A LOT. Then with CO2 from electronic devices it is probably a lot. Around 1/7 of the world have no electronic devices but then the other 6/7 is probably using a quite a lot. So I think that if the other 1/7 would also have electricity it may have been able to take 2/5 rather than 1/3 but I don’t think enough people have electronic things to make it that high. Then with the climate change I was actually wasn’t really sure……I have heard a lot of convincing arguments to make me believe in it but I am personally not fully convinced yet so I came up with my own little theory that maybe It is us, electronics and just the natural world itself.

I think because of some of these household appliances that carbon dioxide is probably tripled. we have so much waste and one day landfill is going ot be filled up and then we will be thinking twice before we throw out something we don’t need to. Hi Tia, I was wondering, if we did not have technological advances, could we take care of the huge population og the world? For example, clothes are noe being made in huge factories, not in a spinning yarn as we saw in Sovereign Hill. If we still made our own clothes will it be sustainable?
