Hi Ms Joubert,
Yesterday I noticed that a lot of the people spoke about never giving up. I noticed in the Helping Hoops session the man spoke about how if you never give up you can achieve anything. I also noticed in the education session we learnt that if they never give up they can learn what they want. I also noticed that every person I spoke to were all trying to help the world in their own small way. In one of the groups I also noticed that she spoke about that small things can make a difference and I noticed this again in the Helping Hoops session, playing basketball helps the people learn self confidence and trust. I noticed that in different countries everything was different. I noticed this in the education session because we saw that school was only compulsory till you turned 14. I also learnt that it was much harder to get an education in other countries and to try encourage girls to go to school girls go free. Finally I learnt to not let people get to you and keep following your dreams. I learnt this in the disabilities session where Kim spoke about how people treat her like a baby yet she is 19. Yet she didn’t let that get to her and next year she is doing writing at TAFE.

Hi Ms J,
Yesterday I noticed that there was alot of people speaking about perservering and inequity. in helping hoops i thought Mike spears had a very good message that you cant say you dont like something untill you try and keep practicing you will always be sucsessful like it took him 3 and a half hours to spin the basketball on his finger the whole way around the court. i also noticed in the micro lending session that if you give a loan to people who need it when you get the money back you can either withdraw your money or you can give that money to someone else again. i also noticed in the aboriginals session i noticed that not many aboriginals get a job as a teacher at a school where they are talking about Israel. i also noticed in the animal rights that the dog was rescued because theb owner that had the dog before just abandend him.

Hi Ms J,
The five things I noticed were:
That in most of the talks they said that we as children can make a differences in our own small way but everything small we do helps a whole awful lot.
I also noticed that Australia pretty much is the luckiest country with all that we have. Unlike other countries.
I also noticed that there are more unfair things in the world than fair.
I also noticed that there are so many solutions in the world to the problems but we need so many people to help.
I also noticed that we can learn from Aboriginals about many useful skills.
