Your understanding about inequity now?

Hi 6A,

watch this video and find out what your peers are thinking at this point in time about our unit on “Developing awareness and understanding of inequity, empowers us to act”.

You have all come a long way in building your knowledge and understanding of inequity through your research. I have heard some of you make some powerful statements – which demonstrate a deeper understanding than 5 weeks ago.

1. What do you think are the most important understandings you have realised as a result of your inquiry?

2. Has your inquiry empowered you in some way? How?

    1. The most important thing I have learnt is that not every family is functional.
    2. Has your inquiry empowered you in some way? How?
    2. my inquiry has empowered me to appreciate my family more than ever before because some families don’t have it so easy.

    hi,
    1. You have to do something about bullying if you are a bystander in a bullying situation, because if you don’t the bullying will get worse and worse, though, the moment you stand up to the bully the bully crumbles because bully’s are cowards. Also if you are a bystander and you don’t do something about the bullying you are almost as bad as the bully and you are on the bully’s side of the bullying.
    2. Yes, because it has empowered me to be more than just a bystander in bullying situation’s because I now know what I can do in different bullying situations as a bystander which has empowered me to act because I am confident that what I am doing is for the right situation because of what I have found out.
