What I have learned.

I think my learning can make a difference because:

 I can change the way people think about disabled people.
 I can make people aware that they are the same as you and anyone else in the world.
 I can let them have a fair go at whatever they want to do without discriminating against them.

Thanks to my learning I can make a difference to discrimination against disabled people.

  1. Dear 6 Daled,
I’m Jason from year 3 GBH.
I think you guys have learnt a lot about your unit.
It is a really hard unit and you’re doing very well learning about disabled people. I used to think there were no schools for disabled people but now from looking at your blog I now know that there are very many schools for disabled people. All your posts are very interesting and you put a lot of detail into all of them.
I have a few questions for you.

How can you change the way people think about disabled people?
How can you make people aware that their the same as you?

    • Hi Jason,
I can change the way people think about disabled people because I have made people think of the positives rather than the negitives because alot of people (I surveyed) said that they look at the person (a disabled person) as someone disabled not a normal person with a disability.

I can make people aware because I can tell/show them that people discriminate against them and show them the things they CAN do rather than what they can’t.
