What I thought of the exhibition:

The exhibition was an amazing and special experience. The exhibition showed me how the world isn’t equal in many ways. I learned many things that I will keep with me for the rest of my life and try make a difference. I never though after all our researching and hard work the day would come.

The opening ceremony was really fun because when I was on stage and was singing I was really proud to be on the stage. When we had finished our performance the audience was clapping and that made me feel really excited and confident. By that point I was very eager to start the presentation.

When the first guest came to my station I started explaining all about my inequity. I wasn’t sure what to expect. After a few parents came by I realised that I have come very far in my learning and that I am very proud of what I have achieved.

The day went on and a lot of people came to my station. It was very interesting to see their opinion on what they thought. I really appreciated the guest’s feedback and what they thought of my mode of presentation. I was lucky enough that I was able to hear some of the people’s personal experiences and stories.

Overall I thought the exhibition was a lifetime experience and I am sure this learning will help me throughout life!

I would love to know if you have or have had a personal experience of having a disability. If you have please share and write how you felt and what it was like.
